Coffee Martini Recipe
There’s something rather luxurious about an espresso martini, and this Halo Coffee version is no exception. Rich and beautifully balanced, it’s the kind of cocktail that instantly feels festive. Whether you’re hosting a dinner party or winding down after wrapping presents, the Halo Coffee Martini is your go-to drink for the holiday season, a little indulgence that’s effortlessly elegant.
Made with freshly brewed Halō espresso (we recommend Noir or Bourbon Espresso for that deep, velvety flavour), this recipe combines classic ingredients with the quality and sustainability Halo Coffee is known for. It’s simple to prepare yet feels wonderfully special, the perfect way to toast the season in style.
HALO COFFEE MARTINI RECIPE
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
- For the sugar syrup:
- 100g golden caster sugar
- 50ml water
- For the cocktail:
- Ice
- 100ml vodka
- 50ml freshly brewed espresso coffee ( we recommend Noir or Bourbon Espresso)
- 50ml coffee liqueur (we recommend Kahlúa)
- 4 coffee beans (optional)
Method:
- Start by making the sugar syrup. Heat the caster sugar with 50ml water over medium heat until dissolved. Allow to cool.
- Chill 2 martini glasses in the fridge.
- Combine 1 tbsp of sugar syrup, ice, vodka, Halo espresso, and coffee liqueur in a cocktail shaker. Shake until the shaker feels ice cold.
- Compost your used pods, perfect for houseplants or your domestic compost heap!
- Strain the cocktail into the chilled glasses and garnish with coffee beans.
