Creating a lavender latte at home is easier than you think. You'll need:
- 1- 2 Halō capsules
- 200ml steamed milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 15ml lavender-infused simple syrup (see recipe below or source locally)
- Dried lavender for garnish (optional)
Lavender-Infused Simple Syrup Recipe
If you can’t find a high-quality lavender syrup at your local shop, it’s easy to make your own at home:
- 250ml water
- 250g sugar
- 4-5 tbsp dried culinary lavender
- In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and lavender.
- Bring to a light simmer while stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let steep (15-20 minutes).
- Strain out the lavender and store the syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
Pro tip: looking to make a larger quantity? Simply use a one-to-one ratio of sugar and water and adjust the lavender accordingly.
